Insurance companies are here to make moeny, if not, their owners would have put a different bussiness. Period.

And believe me, they abuse us every single day. As I said, law just started to put a stop on the abuse, but there is still a long way to go.

Same price for me and I live in $unny $$$$$ Florida that charges you even for breathing. So I have a better deal yet ;)
Insurance commissioners are elected officials, so whatever has happened, happened in a democratic process.

And, yes, you can have insurance for all those things you said, but have you checked their prices?
Yup, I have. I've seen many instances where a collector/stated value car gets changed close to nothing provided the driver has a good record. They realize its a special car, and you will do your best to take care of it, and your record will prove that. If you have a bad record, thats not thier fault.
Collectible = low miles = can't drive my Z then at all (in Florida they allow only 2K miles a year for collectibles)
it does lead back to money.... but we do live in a capitalist, representative republic society... i would not have it any other way. :)

So is a friend of mine. And that is the reason I know many things most people don't about insurance ;)
